  • The most popular Russian Rock-Pop band ZVERI "the Beasts"!

    ZVERI "The Beasts" are finally here, in New York City. These are the Beatles of modern Russia. The band represents the ultimate combination of rock, pop and punk music. Their appearance is not just a concert, but an event of celebration of youthful, energetic sounds. Prepare to witness numerous beautiful eastern European girls move their slender bodies to the beats and rhythms of Zveri. The Beasts are the undisputed leaders by popularity and crowd gathering in not just Russia but far beyond its border onto other eastern European and central Asian countries. Electrical atmosphere of their concerts always does the job of making everyone present forget all about their worries and simply enjoy themselves together with the youthful multinational crowds.

    Zveri burst onto the Russian music scene with their debut album Golod (Hunger), which received extremely positive reviews in the Russian music press "MTV Russia; Music-TV e.t.c.. The band was named after the group's lead singer and founder, whose last name literally means "the beast". Zveri was formed in mid-2002 by Roman Bilyk, better known as Roma Zver', the lead singer of the band. He was soon joined by Maksim Leonov on guitars, Kostya Labezkiy on the bass, Kirill Antonenko on keyboards and Misha Kraev on the drums and the group began work on their debut album Golod, released in February 2003. This album, considered by many as their best work, contained many of the songs eponymous with the group, such as Dozhdi-Pistolety (Rain-Guns), Dlya Tebya (For You) and Prosto Takaya Sil'naya Lyubov' (Simply such a strong love). This release cemented Zveri's popularity amongst the youth of Russia.

    In March 2004, Zveri released their 2nd album to widespread hysteria, entitled Rayony-Kvartaly (Regions, districts). It sold hugely and was accompanied by a tour of the country to promote it. Vsyo, chto kasaetsya was released as a single from it and standout tracks include Yuzhnaya Noch' (Southern Night) and Napitki Pokrepche (stronger drinks). In 2005 the group released a remix album for songs from Golod and Rayony, Kvartaly. March 2006 saw the release of the group's 3rd album, Kogda my vmeste, nikto ne krutche (When we are together, no one is cooler), from which Do skoroi vstreche (till we meet soon) was released as a single.

    The new, long awaited album will be released in April, 2008;

    Don't miss this rare opportunity to experience first hand what all the fuss is about, you will NOT be disappointed. Are you ready to create memories?!

The Orphans

  • The Orphans - New line-up – new look – new sound – new tunes. The Orphans take a giant step forward on their new album. With founding member/guitarist Mike, looking to diversify The Orphans sound; a denser and more vocally assured band is the result. The most apparent new addition, London brings her strong chops and expressive voice to the proceedings. Sliding somewhere between Janice Joplin and Matthew Bellamy of Muse London gives the band their most visible identity. Together they create a potent and powerful lineup.

    The Orphans has successfully peddled their brand of calibrated rock through New York's downtown club scene, playing legendary venues as China Club, The Bitter End, Hammerstein Ballroom, and CBGB. They expect to bring their unique sound to a store and club near you.

    In an age of cookie-cutter bands and sound-alike vocalists, The Orphans stand out with songs of sass, style and soul. It's time to adopt these Orphans.
