The Nude Party – Music Hall of Williamsburg – May 19, 2023

Based in the Catskills, the Nude Party put out their third studio album, Rides On, a couple of months back, earning some of the best reviews of their career: “The sextet’s combination, some may say collision, of blues, swamp and twang are once again dragged into the garage, dusted with Todd Rundgren’s pop dust and energized with a ragged but right bluster,” says American Songwriter. “The difference this time is that recording in their own studio and self-producing the sessions allowed the songs to evolve naturally instead of shoehorning performances into a strict number of days. While there is plenty of caffeinated vitality to these thirteen tracks, the vibe is a bit more relaxed.” And with their spring tour winding down, the Nude Party kicked off the weekend with a wild, rambunctious show at Music Hall of Williamsburg on Friday night.
